Email confirmation based on email form field

If you have email form field in your form, you can send email confirmation to user who filled your form.

Confirmation email settings

Please, see how confirmation email settings looks like in Form Widget settings. Trigger Send confirmaion email to form submitter? for being able to see all options below.

As you may see from the screenshot above you can setup everything you may need to send automated emails to your users. The most obvious use of this feature is to send email confirmation that you've been notified about their input.

  • First and most important option here is email form field. This is from where we will take user's email and to whom we will actually send confirmation.
  • Next one is email Subject option - where you can set your confirmation email subject. Good practice to do not leave it blank, please.
  • And of course Body of your automated email must be filled in. Because, otherwise, user may think that this is just a spam.
  • Another sweet option is From header option. Using which you can set your companies email. So user will see Your Company Name your@company.email sender instead of MyTaskHelper.com.
  • Also Reply to option should be widely used. Because it allows your users to respond to your directly. This way you can stay connected with your users.

Say 'Thank you' to Mikie, who requested this feature first.
